Depending on the notification and our integration, we may process your registered mobile phone number, relevant work-related details, message content, delivery status, and other information required to send and manage WhatsApp communications.
Purposes of Messaging
WhatsApp messages may include:
Work opportunities and work invitations.
Bid updates and assignment confirmations.
Work status notifications and other important service-related updates.
Sharing with WhatsApp and Meta
Information necessary to deliver WhatsApp messages may be shared with WhatsApp and Meta Platforms, Inc. and processed by them in accordance with their applicable terms and privacy policies. Relevant service providers may also process this information on Hoodex's behalf.
Consent and Communication Preferences
Hoodex will send WhatsApp messages in accordance with applicable consent requirements and WhatsApp policies. Where applicable, you may manage your notification preferences through Hoodex or use the available opt-out mechanism to stop WhatsApp communications.
Stopping WhatsApp notifications may affect your ability to receive updates through that channel. You may still be able to access relevant information through the Hoodex app.
Security and Retention
Hoodex applies appropriate safeguards to protect information associated with WhatsApp communications. Such information is retained in accordance with the Data Security and Data Retention sections of this Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements.
