Platform Safety Policy

This document is part of Hoodex's official policies for workers, employers, and platform users.

1. Safety Commitment

The safety of Workers, Employers, and the public is Hoodex's highest priority. This policy describes Hoodex's safety features, obligations, and their inherent limitations.

2. Safety Features

  • In-App SOS / Emergency Button: Workers and Employers can trigger an emergency alert during an active job, visible to Hoodex's safety team.
  • Real-Time Location Sharing: Location shared with the Platform during active jobs.
  • Verified Profiles: All users undergo KYC verification.
  • Ratings & Review System: Community-based safety filtering.
  • Incident Reporting: In-app tool to report safety concerns.
  • Safety Helpline: WhatsApp +91 99146 67953 — available during business hours.

3. Worker Safety Rights

  • Workers have the absolute right to refuse or immediately terminate any job that poses a genuine safety risk, without financial penalty, upon proper notification.
  • Workers must report any threatening, abusive, or unsafe behaviour by an Employer immediately.
  • Hoodex may suspend an Employer's account pending investigation of a serious safety complaint.

4. Employer Safety Obligations

  • Employers are solely responsible for the safety of their premises.
  • Must not require Workers to perform tasks without proper safety equipment, training, or measures.
  • Must ensure the work environment is free from hazards, discrimination, and harassment.

5. Hoodex's Safety Limitations

Critical limitation

Hoodex is a technology platform and does NOT provide physical safety oversight. Hoodex CANNOT guarantee the safety of any job engagement. Workers and Employers assume responsibility for their own safety. Hoodex is NOT liable for any physical injury, assault, accident, or death occurring during a Platform-facilitated engagement.

6. Incident Response Protocol

7. Law Enforcement Cooperation

Upon receipt of a valid legal request (FIR, court order, police requisition), Hoodex will promptly share all relevant data including User information, location data, transaction records, and communications. Hoodex will suspend relevant accounts pending investigation and preserve all digital evidence.
