Community Guidelines

This document is part of Hoodex's official policies for workers, employers, and platform users.

Hoodex is built on trust, safety, dignity, and opportunity. These Community Guidelines apply to all Users — Workers and Employers. Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent removal from the Platform.

1. Respect & Dignity

  • Treat all Platform users with respect and professionalism at all times.
  • No harassment, bullying, intimidation, offensive language, or abusive conduct.
  • No sexual harassment, inappropriate comments, or unwanted physical contact of any kind.
  • No discrimination based on caste, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, language, or region.

2. Honesty & Integrity

  • Be truthful and accurate in all interactions, profiles, and communications.
  • Do not misrepresent your identity, qualifications, experience, or capabilities.
  • Do not submit false, forged, or AI-generated documents.
  • Do not post fake or misleading job listings.
  • Do not manipulate ratings or reviews.

3. Safety First

  • Prioritize personal and public safety at all times.
  • Report any unsafe conditions, threats, or incidents immediately via in-app tools.
  • Workers must not accept jobs in clearly unsafe conditions.
  • Employers must ensure a safe working environment before a Worker arrives.
  • Never perform or request illegal or dangerous activities.

4. Platform Integrity

  • Do not circumvent the Platform through off-platform transactions.
  • Do not create multiple accounts or share your account.
  • Do not use bots, scripts, or automated tools on the Platform.
  • Do not attempt to manipulate Platform algorithms or ranking systems.

5. Privacy of Others

  • Respect the privacy of other Users at all times.
  • Do not record, photograph, or surveil other Users without their consent.
  • Do not share another User's personal information outside the Platform.

6. Content Standards

  • All content must be accurate, relevant, and non-offensive.
  • No illegal, obscene, defamatory, threatening, or abusive content.
  • No spam, promotional content, or irrelevant information in listings or reviews.

7. Consequences of Violations

Minor violation (first offence)Formal in-app warning.
Repeated minor violationsTemporary account suspension, removal of content.
Serious violation (harassment, fraud, fake docs)Immediate suspension, investigation, potential permanent ban.
Criminal conductImmediate permanent ban + reporting to law enforcement.

8. Reporting Violations

Use the in-app 'Report' feature to report violations. All reports are reviewed by the Hoodex Safety and Trust team. Reports are kept confidential to the extent possible.
